Don't like anything on a relish tray so I would be doing exactly what you are doing!!! Asking for help... :)

carrots, celery, broccoli, green or red peppers, cherry tomatoes, and veggie dip.

I think it depends on who asked you to bring it. Some people call a veggie tray w/dip a relish tray. Others call different kinds of pickles & olives, etc. a relish tray. :)

hhhmmm....I have NEVER been asked to bring one. I always get hit up for desserts! I think people think that is all I know how to do 'cause I look like that is all I know how to do!

In this part of the world veggie tray=relish tray. The terms are interchangeable here in PA.

And the reason for asking is because I WAS asked to bring a relish tray for fellowship. I got excited thinking how easy it would be to slice up cheese and put pickles and olives on a pretty tray. Then I got to thinking that down here in the "south" (don't laugh, Indiana is SOUTH of Michigan!) she just might be referring to a veggie tray. So glad I called her to double check. She said to her relish is what you put on a hotdog but she meant a veggie tray. Wah! I HATE cutting up brocolli and cauliflower!! And I was looking forward to the taste of sweet pickles and sharp cheddar cheese.

Too funny....brought back a memory. My sister-in-law (not naming names but Andy's wife) was asked to bring a relish tray to our in laws for dinner one time. She also thought it meant relish for hot dogs. We still laugh sometimes about it (with her of course not at her). lol
