Anyone wanna join me in starting a new auction service to give Ebay a run for their money? I don't know, maybe it's not even Ebay's fault. But for some crazy reason our account got hacked into some time ago. I think we have had three run arounds with Ebay this year because of it. They keep telling us to get a more secure password and I am sick and tired of memorizing new passwords that have no rhyme or reason.
Yesterday I spent a good part of the day researching and preparing a listing for a set of books to post. Got them posted last night and today, once again we are locked out of our account. Probably because I've never sold books on Ebay so it looks like fraudulent activity! Ugh!
I get annoyed anyway because it seems like they can do anything they want since they have the monopoly on the online auction market. But where else is your stuff gonna get the most hits? They've got us and they know it!
The stupidest part is I figured with all the work I put into the listing and the amount of money I will make, I would have been better off to use my time for something else.
Oh well, live and learn. If you got this far, thanks for reading my rant. I think I feel better now :)

Uuuughh! I've had my account hacked into on Ebay before too. I got a whole bunch of negative feedbacks by some guy in NJ who was using my account! That was a couple of years ago though & they erased them from my account.
I think their fees are getting too expensive & I'd love for someone to start something new! Can't you & your techie DH come up with something for us?! LOL :)
If you come up with something---I want to sell some of my Longaberger baskets and can't force myself to do the ebay thing yet!
