Leave Well Enough Alone

How many times have I heard my mother say that in my lifetime? Too many to count and I still haven't learned the lesson. I took a perfectly good looking blog. Just HAD to change the header to a Christmas greeting and an hour later the results...a messed up blog that I can't even get back to it's original state b/c for some reason my old blog header won't fit anymore. How can that happen?!?! Sometimes I hate computers. (I think I mentioned that this month already.)

Lesson learned? You betcha! I am walking away from this thing right now. I'm not spending anymore time on it even if the fonts aren't what I want them to be; even if my blog header is fuzzy (because in my opinion it'sbbetter fuzzy than stretched, I think) and even if I want to cry. Why give up? Because sometimes you need to just "leave well enough alone!"

Refresh Thumbnail

I had the weirdest thing happen to me last week. I still can't figure out exactly WHAT I did. But I finally figured out how to solve my problem. When re-organizing my photos on my computer, somehow all my thumbnails became messed up. I had duplicate thumbnails in the same folder but when I would click on the photo to enlarge it, it would show up as another picture (which was really a good thing b/c I initially thought I had accidentally deleted all these photos but when I went to the recycle bin to restore them they weren't there).
Well, after messing around with it today I discovered that if you right-click on the thumbnail, in the list of actions, you will find one that reads REFRESH THUMBNAIL. Woohoo!! All my thumbnails now match the photo it belongs with. Life is good again :)
