Ringing in the New Year

...6 adults, 8 kids, pizza, KFC coleslaw, creamy taco, chips, brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, a counter full of 2 liters, two rounds of Masterpiece, three Max Lucado children's DVDs, a game of Rat and lots of noise when 2008 arrived.

Thanks, Jerry and Janiece, for your hospitality (I did not have a clue that you'd just arrived home from MI a measly two hours before we got there!) And thanks, Dave and Lynette, for spending the evening with us noisy ones. We had a great time!

Definitely looks like FUN! :) (We were so boring this year and sadly, we were happy about it! LOL)

Yep, it was the perfect evening - fun but not stressful in any way. It's so nice that my kids are getting older and pretty self sufficient (now watch, I'll get prego with triplets in a few years and spoil all my fun! lol!!)

Denise, we have had boring new year's sometimes too. All depends on how exhausted you are from all the holiday activities as to what you feel like doing - partying or staying home.

Jody, we'll have to get together for a game night SOON!

I came into my apartment on Sunday night, Dec. 30 and never left until Wednesday morning at 8:15am for class... SO, my whole NY Eve and NY was very d..o..w..n..... Laid around a lot, cried a lot and emailed my cousin and talked to her on the phone - because of her brother's death on the 29th - (my BD~~!!) So, I guess I was REALLY BORING!
It would have been fun to have fun with friends and I was invited to a "Christian Singles Party" but just didn't feel like facing people....

Sounds like yours was GREAT, though! We could meet up at a Hotel in Fort Wayne and do games, etc, Sara!
