Frustration

My weekend didn't get any better. After my computer woes on Friday, we headed to Muncie Saturday to do family photos with our friends, the Grafs. I was switching out memory cards with Tony who was viewing the pictures on my laptop. I assumed (never assume!) that he was downloading them in order to view them. So in some moment of tension and stress (always a good blame, eh?) I cannot figure out what possessed me but I deleted all the pictures we'd taken up to that point on the first card I'd used and was inserting back into my camera while he checked the next set out. He was viewing them directly from the memory card. I should have known this because we are two very different individuals and rarely do we do anything the same way.

I can always do the same photo shoot here at home. It's not like the girls were being overly cooperative anyway. But I had a fabulous photo of Kerrigan with the Graf's dog, Bitsy as well as our first attempt at carrying on my dad's tradition of Chex Party Mix. I came home and cried. But now it's time to wipe up the spilled milk and carry on.

I wondered how the Picture Day went; I'm sorry it didn't end well.

Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! I would be upset, too.

Sounds like some of my days lately. Glad you are feeling better now~or that you wiped up the spilled milk anyway! I think I lost Abigail USB for her camera which stinks! Call me when you are feeling blue 'cause as of this moment I am not even crying!

We have a program that can re-cover deleted photos. If you are interested in trying to salvage them, let me know. I delelted all of our Easter pictures last year before I realized I hadn't saved them, and this program pulled them all up, plus some older ones too.
