I'm sooo mad I didn't get to go!!! Guess there is a reason for everything! I hope our family can go soon. Looks like you all had a great time!

Where is that place? It's awesome! Was it a family outing or a school field trip? Glad the guy didn't "chomp" down on your face!

Gail, it's the Creation Museum affiliated with Answers in Genesis/Ken Hamm. You've probably heard him on FLR. Dad used to have alot of his books. It was SO refreshing to be able to tell the girls, "Here is a museum that you can believe EVERYTHING they say!" Instead of having to reinforce our belief in Creation and refute the "millions of years ago..." theories. And I'll tell you something else, AWESOME does not even begin to describe God after seeing and hearing what we did today. It was an incredible revelation. You feel so miniscule when you realize how vast the universe truly is and yet He created us to love him!

Yes, Janiece, it's a bummer you didn't get to come. Man, I remember those days (still have them on occasion) It's so depressing to be stuck home with sick kids. ESPECIALLY when you miss out on a special event. Wish you could have gotten in on the discount...that was even sweeter!

Oh, Gail, it was a school trip that turned into a family outing. We had been planning to go there and to the Aquarium here in Cincinnati (technically across the river in Kentucky) on a weekend this fall. So when we found out Brit and Nae's class was coming for a field trip, we decided to take Kerri out of school for today and kill two birds with one stone. Seemed far away to send a 12 and 9 yr old without us :) (3 hr drive one way.)
