Wedding Party

I intended to post who was in my wedding along with the photos. But alas, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Ministers: Rev. Arthur E. Fritz, father of the bride; Rev. Lowell B. Derscheid, grandfather of the groom
Maid of Honor: Nichole Clark Howard, niece of the bride
Best Man: Lauren Derscheid, brother of the groom
Bridesmaids: MaryLee Shattuck Baker and Janiece Shattuck Cooper, friends of the bride
Groomsmen: Alan Cooper and Jerry Cooper, friends of the groom
Flower Girl: Katie Graf, friend of the groom
Bible Bearer: David Fritz, nephew of the bride
Candle Bearer: Luke Clark, nephew of the bride (carried the "tanels" to our mothers for lighting our individual candles)
Musicians: Art and Sarah Fritz, brother and sister-in-law of bride; Jodi Clark, sister of the bride; Nichole, MaryLee and Janiece
Piano: Gail Fritz, sister of bride
Guitar: Art Fritz, brother of bride
Host and Hostess of Reception: Reed and Betty Cooper, friends of the groom

Songs:
"The Rose" (pre-ceremony) Art and Sarah Fritz and Jodi Clark
"Friends Are Friends Forever" (piano only-entrance of attendants)
"Wedding Processional" from the Sound of Music (I always joked that I was going to play at my own wedding...well I did. My sister plays only by ear and was not able to do this one so I recorded it with grandiose organ on my keyboard - she hit the play button and I walked up the aisle to my own accompaniment!)
"The Father Says 'I Do' " Art Fritz
"Cherish the Treasure" Sara Fritz, (joined on chorus by MaryLee and Janiece)
"O Perfect Love" trio of bridesmaids (I really wanted the entire wedding party to sing this but didn't get to that little detail in time for them to all practice)
"Household of Faith" Art and Sarah Fritz (while the new Mr and Mrs Derscheid dismissed guests)

And just in case anyone wants to see a larger photo of the wedding party, you should be able to click the image above to enlarge it.

Your wedding pics put a smile on my face. I think that my bridesmaid dresses were the same pattern in hunter green!!! Must have been a popular look waaaaaaaaaaay back then!!!! Happy Anniversary.

We had "The Father Says I Do" sung at ours also!

At least you got a post in. I tried uploading pictures earlier and blogger pooped out on me and I gave up. LOL I am not a patient person when it comes to computers sometimes.

Happy Anniversary again. Enjoyed looking at the photos!
