My kids groan when I get out the camera. So I was a good mom and only snapped one quick photo of each one. Britnee was already on her way to group orientation so I figured one with her friends in the hall would suffice. They look so funny for "first day" picks because they aren't in uniform. But every year they tell me there are some kids who don't wear their uniform on the first day. So since there was a debate last night at PTF and Mrs. Johnson won, I had to go against my wishes and let them dress down as they do on all Fridays during the school year. Oh, the debate was between Mr. and Mrs. Johnson, not Mrs. Johnson and me. I just think they look more like the first day of school in their uniforms AND I had the uniforms washed and ready to go unlike the rest of the laundry.

Grr! I was only saying that we never wear uniforms on Fridays! So the ones who weren't at the meeting wouldn't know to wear their uniforms! :-) I'm not "grring" at you; I'm "grring" because it was even an issue. :-) teehee
Ah, it doesn't seem like any of them should be in school (Talon and Courtney too) but then I've got 2 in school now too....time is flying by.
It has been an on and off thing for years, one year they start the school year with uniforms, the next year they don't(I think the principal usually makes the final call). I think there were some relieved parents when he said no uniforms. I think they would have had to do some scramblin' if he would have said uniforms, lol! My uniforms were ready, but my kids DID NOT mind doing the casual thing at all. Thanks Mr. Johnsnon!
Connor was IN his uniform when Janiece called, so I was flying for the closet and the ironing board to get him changed and still out the door on time.
