Erin Go Braugh!

I worked at the school the other day and Tony had worked at home so he kept the girls. In an attempt to make my day even more special (because I actually had a break from the girls :) he put some cash in my purse and suggested lunch on him. Now with three girls, lunch out is usually interpretted Mc Donald's or Burger King (or if I'm REALLY lucky, Taco Bell). But this day I was completely on my own. It was sweltering and I decided that a certain chicken salad sandwich accompanied by sweet potato crisps sounded wonderful. A parent had ordered in for some of the teacher's one day at the end of the year and that is what she brought. So after making a few phone calls I finally figured out where to get it. An Irish restuarant on the square.

That evening we went to Lebanon for supper. On the way back, we were driving towards the downtown area and I was looking at and reading the business signs (something I'm sure drives my husband nuts) when I saw this sign:

"O'Reilly's Auto," I said aloud, "hmmm, wonder if that's owned by the same people where I got my lunch today? Oh, nope, that's not right, that was...

...Obrien's." By this time we are past the auto store sign, so I had to recap, O'Reilly's, Obrien's..." and then I looked to my right and saw this sign...

...and O'financing!" I exclaimed in my best Irish accent. My husband groaned. He worries about my humor (or lack thereof.)

hhhmmmmmmm...I am with you there. I craved Taco Bell throughout ALL of my pregnancies so my kids grew up on it. They could gum the soft shells real good! Anyway, I am lucky because I rarely have to go to McD's!
