Update 8-17 9:05am

Wow, I guess since I got back home in Indiana I haven’t been posting updates.  Sorry about that.

 

Mom has still been struggling with confusion.  My sister, Barb, from Missouri, arrived on the scene quite unexpectedly (guess she figured we weren’t giving her enough info and she wanted to see for herself J Not really!) Monday night.  And since we returned home Monday night that worked out great for Dad.

Tuesday and Wednesday, she walked from her bed to the door and back.

Wednesday morning, she was moved from the hospital to the rehab center.  From my understanding, they were able to go through a hall straight to the center so she didn’t have to go outside.  Her room is very nice and homey I’m told (haven’t seen any pictures yet).

Please pray that she will make good progress and will allow the therapists to do their job.  With the confusion, there have been times when she didn’t like or want to do what the nurses were requesting of her.
