Update 8-12 5:07pm

Talked to dad. Mom has just come out of surgery. Dr said she did fine. The ball had broken offand was replaced with a steel ball. He said she will be sore tonight but they will have mom up and walking in the morning.

Hospital time will be detrmined by whether or not they have room at the rehab center next to the hospital or if she will have to go straight home.

She is in ICU for a few hours as the recovery ward isn't open on weekends. They will be moving her back to a regular ward later tonight but closer to the nurse's station than the room she was in originally.
