Mom's Progress

This just in from my sister, Gail.

Dear Family and Friends:

Just a note to keep you all up-to-date on Mama's
progress. She has been home for 4 days now. She is
walking really well with her walker. She is not
allowed to use a cane right now; it would over-use the
hip that broke, so she can only walk with a walker,
and right now, she still has to have someeone right
behind her. (She can't just take off on her own!!)

She is eating better - home food is better than
hospital food, right? Dad says she sleeps all night
long, therefore, so does he.

Barb had been her for about a week with her 4
children. Thursday night, Tony came in to Grand
Rapids on the train and she went and picked him up.
He stayed until Sunday, and then he headed back to
Missouri with the 4 kids. Barb will stay for a couple
more weeks, for which we are thankful. Jodi and I are
both having health issues so we do as much as we can,
but our best is not enough..... Please pray for all
of us.

I'm really worried about Dad. He doesn't look good;
he's exhausted.

Guess that is it for now. Talk to you all later!

Blessings and Peace,

Gail
