Fall Vacation

We recently took a family vacation. We had never gone AWAY from family. In the past we have vacationed in Michigan around family events so we were always within a couple hours of someone we knew. I must admit it did feel really weird to be heading out on our own in the opposite direction. Tony and the girls were all able to add a few new states to their list-first time they had been to Georgia, Alabama and North Carolina. I had already been that direction when I was 8 or 10 yrs old, so nothing new as far as state lines. But driving up in the mountains and seeing God's handiwork was certainly new again. I had forgotten how pretty it was!

The photo posted here was taken just over the North Carolina/Tennessee state line in NC. I think Daddy did a great job with his photography skills!
