3 years ago, shortly after I had 20 rolls of film developed that had been collected over a period of about 9 years. After being reacquainted with the hobby, I was really excited to see how it had evolved over the years. I love all the colors, the embellishments and the textures that are available to scrappers.
Computer generated pages don't appeal to me much (yet, just wait until it goes out of style :) and I think it's b/c I enjoy so much creating something from nothing with my own hands. I like mixing and matching all the colors and ending up with something I can view with pride and accomplishment of a job well done!
Here is one of my most favorite layouts that I have done this year. No doubt much of that has to do with no only the look of the layout but the subjects of the photos...my two youngest daughter's enjoying a quiet moment together.
